Product Care
Most of our blankets are backed with Minky fabric. Minky is
a soft, plush material made from polyester fibers.
To best care for Minky fabric, wash alone in cold water on a
cold-delicate cycle. Avoid using fabric softener and dryer sheets.
As much as possible, hang your Minky blanket to air dry. Heat
causes the Minky fibers to melt, which causes the fibers to harden over time and
may shorten the life of your blanket. Therefore,
if you must use the dryer, use a “no heat tumble-dry” or “air fluff” setting.
NEVER iron your Minky.
